Daclatasvir Tablets also known as Daklinza is a prescription medication usually taken with sofosbuvir. Daclatasvir and sofosbuvir may also be used in conjunction with other antiviral medications (ribavirin). These treatments work together to limit the quantity of hepatitis C virus in your body, which aids your immune system in fighting the illness and may aid in the recovery of your liver. Chronic hepatitis C infection can lead to major liver complications such as scarring (cirrhosis) or liver cancer. It is unknown if this therapy will keep you from spreading the illness to others. To reduce the danger of spreading the virus to others, avoid sharing needles and engage in “safer sex” (including the use of latex condoms). Daklinza belongs to a family of medications known as NS5A Inhibitors. It is unknown if Daklinza is safe and effective in children under the age of 18.
